MCA Reading
WHEN & WHERE? MHS, April 21st-25th
WHAT IS IT? Evaluation of student competence in application of processes and concepts of the state graduation standard.
WHO TAKES IT? All 10th Graders
WHY TAKE IT? Identify district and school strengths and weaknesses; students can use their MCA Reading scores to gain access to College in the Schools classes; students pursing 2 year or Technical schools can use MCA scores for course placement in place of taking the Accuplacer Test.
MCA Math
WHEN & WHERE? MHS, April 21st-25th

WHY TAKE IT? Identify district and school strengths and weaknesses; students can use their MCA Math scores to gain access to College in the Schools classes; students pursing 2-year or Technical Schools can use MCA scores for course placement in place of taking the Accuplacer Test.
