Welcome to our Activities Offered page! Below you will find a comprehensive list of all the extracurricular activities available for the 2024-25 school year. We offer a variety of programs to cater to diverse interests and talents, including sports, fine arts, and middle school and high school offerings through community education.

*Our current sports fee is $215 and our current fine arts fee is $150.
*The activities below are a part of our family cap of $900 with the exception of the middle school and high school offerings through Community Education.

DECA

Description: DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management.
Cost: $150

Pops Choir
Advisor: Lara Moline
Description: The Vocal Jazz/Pop choir is a small ensemble that focuses on the performance of contemporary music. Students participating in this ensemble will be able to expand their musicianship skills beyond the choral setting and gain experience and knowledge through singing other vocal styles. This ensemble has an opportunity to perform multiple times throughout the year at scheduled MHS concerts and community events.

Musical (Winter)

Description: Auditions for the cast will be conducted. The musical will provide students an opportunity to excel in drama. A professional quality musical will be performed.

Description: Auditions for the cast will be conducted. One Act is a competitive drama team.  It is open to students in grades 9-12.

Visual Arts

Competitions are April-May
Description: Students compete at the Mississippi 8 Conference Festival, Sections, and State Competitions. Categories include Ceramics, Communications Arts/Graphics/Digital Design, Drawing, Fiber Arts/Textile Design, Jewelry/Metalsmithing, Mixed Media, Painting, Printmaking, Photography, and Sculpture.

Knowledge Bowl
Advisor: Courtney Roatch
Description: Compete against other schools in a "high school quiz bowl" program. Contest meets involve many participant teams and are challenging.
